BACKPACKER
 Requirements:

1. Comply with the General Requirements.

2. Earn a Long Term Backpack Award (5 or more days).

3. Perform 12 hours of LAAC-HAT approved conservation work applied to earning the Trail Saver or Forest Saver awards.

4. Conservation work must be performed in the same calendar year the Backpacker award is earned.

5. Conservation work applied to meet the requirements for any other award or for advancement does not apply to earning this award.
