BASIN & RANGE TRAILS
Requirements:

1. At least one adult going on the hike must have completed the Basic Backpack Awareness Course.

2. Be a registered member of Boy Scouts of America or Girl Scouts U.S.A.

3. Each person must have the Hiking Merit Badge or two (2) Training Hikes, one of 5 miles and one of IO miles, within two (2) months prior to the award trek.

4. It is suggested that each person on the hike have completed a Scout Medical Evaluation within one year.

5. At least on adult on the hike must have a Standard, or better, First Aid Card.

6. Make at least one approved trail improvement. (Forest Service, Park Service, etc. will have improvement suggestions.)

7. Complete all the requirements for the specific hike and finalize the trip with a written report by one or more of the participating scouts.

8. All food and equipment must be backpacked (no pack animals or food drops). All trash must be packed out
