Requirements:

1. File a Local Tour Permit two weeks prior to the overnight campout.

2. Patch is earned by camping overnight in one of the local Council Camps: Emerson, Hunt, or Helendade during the Winter months.

3. The campout must be in snow, the unit may use tents or erect temporary shelters.

4. As a Scout, this patch may be worn on the right pocket of uniform shirt as a temporary patch.

5 . At least one adult should be qualified in basic first-aid and carry a first-aid kit.

6. It is recommended that at least one adult have training in winter camping prior to the campout.

7. Notify Camp Ranger as you are leaving camp.

8. Carry out all of your trash.
