This award is given to Scouters by the Forest/Trail Conservation Committee of the LAAC-HAT and is earned when the following conditions are met.

Requirements:
1. The Scouter completes Trail Boss training (refer to the LAAC-HAT
Hike Aid 7, "Trail Conservation').
2. The Scouter oversees two trail conservation projects,
each of which are a minimum of six hours, in the Angeles National Forest.
