Course Description:
This course is a hands-on survey of software,hardware,and procedures involved
with digital audio presentations.(May be repeated one time.)

Final Exam:  May 19 2:30

Course Objective:  To provide an overview of digital audio editing and production as realated to music and multimedia production. 

Attendance Policy:  Attendance is critical.  Missing three or more class sessions may result in being dropped from the class or receiving an F.  Students wishing to withdraw should do so through the Admissions and Records Office. Attendance points=50 points

Exams:  Midterm Exam 50 points, Final Exam 50 points Based on assigned text and handout readings and lectures.
Exam Total=100 points

Projects:  Assignments will be given in class=100 points

Oral Report/Term Paper:  Up to 50 points for preparing a term paper or oral presentation on an electronics related topic or by giving a demonstration of a skill or principle related to a special classroom topic (as listed below).  Presentation must be pre-approved by the instructor= 50 points

 
Assignments =400 points (50 points each)
Final Project=100 points
Attendance=200 points
Term Paper=100 points
Tests=200 points

Total possible points=1000 points

Assignment Schedule: 50 points each, total=400 points
Projects will be given in class.
