Final Project Proposal Assignment/Discussion

Due this week:

  • Your final project proposal
  • Share a start on your final project (no matter how small)

Due next week:

  • Feedback for two student’s projects

Note: The completed final project is not due until the end of the semester.

For your final project, you can do one of the following:

  1. Customize a Web site you created for class lessons for your business (real or ficticious) or create a new one
    - New Web Site Instructions

  2. Make major improvements to an existing Web site
    - Site Improvement Instructions

For this week’s assignment:

Answer the following questions in the Final Project Proposal assignment on Canvas

  • Which final project option will you be doing?
  • Is your business real or fictitious?
  • What's the name of your business?
  • Briefly describe the products or services you will offer.
  • What is the URL if you have one?
  • How will you create the final project (examples: Web Builder like Shopify or Wix, WordPress, HTML/CSS)
  • What support will you need to complete your final project? (examples: Web Space, WordPress templates or plugins)

For this week’s discussion:

  • Make a start on your final project, no matter how small, and share the link or screen shot in the discussion board. (if you don’t want to publish yet you can provide a screen shot)
  • Ask your fellow students for specific feedback on what you’ve done so far.
  • Provide feedback for at least two other students by the end of next week.
