About Regional Teaching Exchanges:
CAE is devoted to improving teaching and learning in Astro 101 by conducting research on student beliefs and reasoning difficulties related to learning astronomy, and instructor implementation difficulties related to teaching astronomy. The resulting reaearch-validated curriculum and assessment materials frame our Teaching Excellence Workshops, the goal of which is to increase the pedagogical content knowledge of Astro 101 instructors and improve implementation of these materials. CAE Regional Teaching Exchanges foster a sense of community amongst geographically linked current and future Astro 101 instructors. You don't have to wait to attend (or re-attend) a CAE Tier I or Tier II workshop. Regional experts from the broader CAE community are ready, willing, and able to provide the opportunity for you to meet your neighbors, expand your instructional repertoire, and share your own expertise. So grab your colleagues -- instructors, graduate students, and postdocs alike -- and join the Exchange!
