Our Guiding Questions

    What cultural forces shape the lives of young Latinos in the United States?

    How do these forces work and how have Latinos responded to these influences?


    Reminder:

    If you have not already done so, please make sure that you have emailed me the final version of your "They Say, I Say" paper so that I can grade it over the weekend.

    Continue expanding "Who Am I Paper." Revise your "second memory" and "my name" sections and add an analysis of your favorite passage from the literature we have read this semester.

    You should end up posting a new draft to Blackboard that has these parts:

    1. revised name
    2. revised heritage
    3. revised first memory (happy or sad)
    4. revised second memory (happy or sad)
    5. Draft favorite passage from literature analysis section.

    Bring a printed out copy of your work to class. We will be working on the paper during both parts of class.
